Prestatyn

long-distance walking

Prestatyn is at the northern end of the 177 mile Offas Dyke Path national trail, which runs the length of the Wales/England border to Chepstow, following an 8th century defensive earthwork. Other trails starting and/or finishing in the town are the North Wales Path, Clwydian Way and Dee Way.

beaches

Prestatyn's most famous tourist attraction is its beach. The town's central beach has been awarded the Blue Flag, the only Denbighshire beach with the accolade.
